What is Caffeine Nasal Spray by Biaxol?
Caffeine through the nasal lining instead of the stomach. It works in about two minutes and clears faster than a tablet, which is what makes it usable late in the day.
Also sold as nasal caffeine or caffeine spray.
Swallowed caffeine has to pass through your stomach and liver before it reaches circulation, which takes 30 to 45 minutes and blunts the peak. The nasal lining sits directly against a dense blood supply, so a spray gets there in a couple of minutes. Same compound, faster in and faster out.
Caffeine Nasal Spray benefits
- Works in about two minutes rather than the 30 to 45 a tablet takes
- Clears faster than oral caffeine, so it can be used late in the day without wrecking sleep
- More effective milligram for milligram than swallowing it
- Does not upset the stomach, which caffeine tablets often do
- Can be used mid-session rather than only beforehand
Caffeine Nasal Spray dosage
- Per spray
- 50mg caffeine
- Standard dose
- 1 spray per nostril, so 100mg
- Higher dose
- 2 sprays per nostril, only once you know your tolerance
- Timing
- About 5 minutes before
- Daily maximum
- 3 separate applications in 24 hours
- Container
- 30 sprays, which is 15 standard doses
One spray per nostril is the standard dose and comes to 100mg of caffeine, roughly a strong coffee. Two per nostril is 200mg and should wait until you know how the first suits you.
Count your other caffeine. Coffee, tea, a pre-workout and this all draw on the same daily total, and it is easy to lose track when one of them takes two seconds to use.

Who is Caffeine Nasal Spray for?
People who train late and want the stimulant gone before bed, and anyone whose stomach objects to caffeine tablets. The speed is the other reason: it is usable mid-session in a way a tablet is not.
If you want something considerably stronger, the version with DMAA adds a second stimulant to the same spray.
How to use Caffeine Nasal Spray
One spray into each nostril, about five minutes before you need it. Do not sniff hard afterwards, which sends it past the absorptive lining into the throat. Leave several hours between doses.
Frequently asked questions
Can I take it with my pre-workout or a fat burner?
Not without doing the arithmetic first. Most pre-workouts already carry 200 to 400mg of caffeine, and stimulant fat burners add more on top through the same pathway.
Yohimbine in particular is the one to keep separate, since it raises heart rate and blood pressure the same way. Pick one strong stimulant at a time rather than layering them.
How fast does it actually work?
About two minutes, against 30 to 45 for a tablet or a coffee. That is the main reason to choose this format.
It also means you can use it mid-session if the second half of a workout is where you fade, which is not practical with anything swallowed.
How much caffeine am I actually getting?
50mg per spray, so one spray per nostril is 100mg, roughly a strong coffee. Two per nostril is 200mg.
The container holds 30 sprays, which is 15 standard doses rather than 30.
Will it keep me awake?
Less than an equivalent tablet would. It clears faster than oral caffeine, which is why it suits late training sessions.
Faster is not instant though. Leave a sensible gap before bed rather than assuming it has gone.
Why does it sting?
Mild nasal irritation in the first few uses is normal and settles as you get used to it.
Do not sniff hard after spraying. That drags it down the throat, where it does nothing except taste unpleasant.
