Description

What is CJC-1295 DAC?

CJC-1295 DAC is the long-acting GHRH analogue. One or two injections a week instead of daily, at the cost of the natural pulse pattern.

Also sold as CJC-1295 with DAC or DAC:GRF.

CJC-1295 is a GHRH analogue: it tells your pituitary to release growth hormone. The DAC part is a drug affinity complex that binds it to albumin in your blood, stretching the half-life from minutes to about a week. That is the whole difference from the version without it. There are two ways to make your pituitary release growth hormone and they run through different receptors. GHRH analogues such as CJC-1295 and MOD GRF tell it to release. Ghrelin mimetics such as ipamorelin, GHRP-2, GHRP-6 and hexarelin both tell it to release and suppress somatostatin, the signal that holds it back. One of each produces a considerably bigger pulse than either alone, which is why they are almost always run as a pair.

CJC-1295 DAC benefits

  • One or two injections a week rather than two or three a day
  • Raises baseline growth hormone and IGF-1 steadily across the whole week
  • Pairs with a ghrelin mimetic for a considerably larger effect than either alone
  • 2mg per vial, which covers several weeks at a standard dose

CJC-1295 DAC dosage

Standard
1 to 2mg per week
Split as
One or two injections per week
Half-life
About 6 to 8 days
Route
Subcutaneous
Pair with
A ghrelin mimetic such as ipamorelin
Run length
12 to 16 weeks

The long half-life is what you are buying and it is also the trade-off. Levels stay raised across the week rather than pulsing, which is convenient and less like how your body actually does it.

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. The reconstitution guide covers the method and the dosage calculator works out how much water to add for the dose you want.

Who is CJC-1295 DAC for?

People who want the simplest possible protocol. Two injections a week is far easier to sustain than the two or three a day the short-acting version needs.

If you would rather keep the natural pulse pattern, MOD GRF 1-29 is the same peptide without the DAC. Either should be paired with a ghrelin mimetic.

Before you run it. The constant elevation is the thing to think about. Growth hormone is normally released in pulses, and a permanently raised baseline is not how your body does it, which is why some people prefer the short-acting version despite the extra injections. Water retention, tingling in the hands and some joint discomfort are the usual side effects and they follow the dose. It is not androgenic, so nothing is suppressed and no post-cycle therapy applies. Reconstituted vials go in the fridge. Bloodwork including IGF-1 and fasting glucose is how you tell whether it is doing anything. Not for anyone under 18, and not for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use CJC-1295 DAC

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water and refrigerate once mixed. Inject subcutaneously into the abdomen, once or twice a week. Timing around food matters less with the DAC version than with the short-acting peptides.

Frequently asked questions

What does the DAC actually do?

It binds the peptide to albumin in your blood, which stops it being cleared quickly. The half-life goes from around thirty minutes to roughly a week.

That is the only difference between this and MOD GRF 1-29. Same peptide, same receptor, completely different dosing schedule.

CJC-1295 DAC or MOD GRF 1-29?

DAC if convenience matters most. Two injections a week against two or three a day is a large practical difference and it is why most people start here.

MOD GRF if you would rather have the pulses. Growth hormone is normally released in bursts, and the short-acting version preserves that pattern where DAC produces a raised baseline instead.

Should I run it with something else?

Almost certainly yes, and this is the thing that separates a protocol that works from one that disappoints. GHRH analogues and ghrelin mimetics act on different receptors, and running one of each gives a much larger pulse than either on its own.

The usual pairing is a GHRH analogue such as MOD GRF 1-29 or CJC-1295 DAC with a ghrelin mimetic such as ipamorelin.

Is this as good as real HGH?

No, and it is worth being straight about that. Secretagogues ask your pituitary to release growth hormone, so they are limited by what it can produce and by the feedback that shuts it down again. Injected HGH has no such ceiling.

What they offer instead is a release pattern closer to how your body does it naturally, in pulses rather than a flat level, at a fraction of the cost. Expect a meaningful effect on sleep and recovery rather than the body recomposition a proper HGH protocol produces.

How long until it does anything?

Sleep quality often changes within the first fortnight. Anything to do with body composition takes two to three months, the same as growth hormone itself.

IGF-1 on a blood test is the objective measure and it moves within a few weeks. That is a better guide than how you feel.
