Description

What is KPV Capsules by Biaxol?

KPV is a peptide built from three amino acids: lysine, proline and valine. It calms inflammation in the gut and skin without touching hormones or pigmentation, which is what lets it sit quietly inside a wider stack.

Also sold as KPV or lysine-proline-valine.

KPV is the last three amino acids of alpha-MSH, the same hormone melanotan is derived from. Separated from the rest of the molecule it keeps the anti-inflammatory activity and loses the effect on pigmentation entirely. It appears to work inside cells rather than at a surface receptor, damping the inflammatory signalling that drives conditions like inflammatory bowel disease.

KPV Capsules benefits

  • Focuses on inflammation control rather than hormones
  • Aimed at gut and skin irritation, where the animal evidence is strongest
  • Does not stimulate tanning, unlike the parent hormone it comes from
  • Non-suppressive and easy to stack alongside anything else
  • Capsule format for simple daily use, no injecting and no reconstitution

A note on the strength. This product is listed at 300mcg per capsule, which matches the microgram range KPV is normally dosed in. The manufacturer's own page lists 300mg per serving, a thousandfold difference, which is almost certainly a units error on their side. We are confirming it. If precision matters to your use, ask us before ordering rather than assuming either figure.

Who is KPV Capsules for?

People dealing with gut inflammation, which is where KPV has the most behind it, and anyone wanting an anti-inflammatory peptide without injecting.

It is often run alongside BPC-157 capsules, which target the same tissue through a different mechanism, repair rather than inflammation.

Before you take it. The manufacturer describes KPV as an experimental peptide, not an approved medicine or a dietary supplement, and that is the right way to think about it. The anti-inflammatory mechanism is well described and the results in models of inflammatory bowel disease are consistent, but controlled human studies do not exist. This is not a treatment for inflammatory bowel disease or any diagnosed condition, and it is not a reason to stop anything prescribed. Anyone with an autoimmune condition, on immune-suppressing medication or with a serious medical condition should speak to a doctor first, since this works on immune signalling. Not for beginners, not for anyone under 18, and not during pregnancy or breastfeeding. There is also the strength question described above, which we are confirming with the manufacturer. Side effects are essentially unreported. It is not androgenic, so nothing is suppressed and no post-cycle therapy applies. Not for anyone under 18, and not for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use KPV Capsules

Swallow one or two capsules a day with food. No reconstitution and no refrigeration.

Frequently asked questions

What is KPV and where does it come from?

It is the last three amino acids of alpha-MSH, the hormone melanotan is derived from. On its own that fragment keeps the anti-inflammatory activity and loses the pigmentation effect completely.

So it is related to melanotan but does none of the tanning, none of the nausea and none of the mole darkening.

Will it tan me like melanotan?

No. The pigmentation activity of alpha-MSH lives in a different part of the molecule, and KPV does not include it.

That separation is the point of the fragment: the anti-inflammatory effect without the rest.

Is it a treatment for IBD or Crohn's?

No, and that needs saying plainly. The animal work in models of inflammatory bowel disease is genuinely interesting, but there are no human trials and this is not an approved treatment for anything.

If you have a diagnosed inflammatory bowel condition, this does not replace what you have been prescribed and the decision to add anything belongs with your doctor.

Can I take it with BPC-157?

Yes, and the two are commonly paired for gut issues. They work differently, KPV on inflammation and BPC-157 on tissue repair, so they complement rather than overlap.

Both are available as capsules, which makes the pairing straightforward.

Does it need PCT?

No. KPV is not androgenic and has no effect on testosterone.

There is nothing for a SERM to do.
