What is Testosterone Cypionate 200 (Astera Labs)?

Astera Labs testosterone cypionate at 200mg/ml, in a 10ml multidose vial. One item covering a full cycle, at the lowest entry price of the long testosterone esters we stock.

The cypionate ester is fractionally larger than enanthate, which makes the release marginally slower. In practice the two behave the same: same dosing, same injection frequency, same role as the base a cycle is built on.

At 200mg/ml a 500mg week is 2.5ml, usually split as 1.25ml twice. That is more oil per injection than the 250 or 300mg/ml options, which is worth knowing if you are sensitive to volume.

There is no reason to push past the beginner range on a first cycle. The higher figures apply when testosterone is doing all the work alone.

Who is Testosterone Cypionate 200 for?

Anyone who wants a testosterone base at the lowest price of entry, and would rather handle one vial than ten ampoules.

Worth being straight about the trade: at 29.00 for 2000mg this is the cheapest box on the shelf, but per milligram it is fractionally more than TESTOMED C 250, and at 200mg/ml you inject more oil for the same dose. Cheaper to start, marginally more over a full cycle.

Before you run it. This replaces your own testosterone production for the cycle and for some time after, so post-cycle therapy is part of the plan, not an optional extra. Testosterone aromatises, which is what the estrogen management guide covers, and bloodwork is how you know where you stand. Not for anyone under 18, and not for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.

How to use Testosterone Cypionate 200

Which concentration should I choose?

It changes the volume, not the effect. 500mg a week is 2.5ml at 200mg/ml, 2ml at 250, and 1.67ml at 300. Less oil is easier on the muscle, which matters more the more often you inject.

Lower concentrations have one advantage: the numbers are simpler and small doses are easier to measure accurately. At 200mg/ml, 1ml is exactly 200mg.

Vial or ampoules, which should I buy?

A practical choice, not a quality one. Ampoules are sealed single doses, sterile until you snap one open, with nothing to contaminate. A vial is one item for the whole cycle and lets you draw any volume rather than a fixed 1ml.

The trade-off with a vial is that the stopper gets entered ten or more times. Alcohol on the stopper every time is what keeps that a non-issue.

Cypionate or enanthate, which is better?

Neither. Cypionate's ester is one carbon atom larger, which makes the half-life about a day longer. That is the entire difference, and it is too small to change how you dose or what results you get.

How often should I inject testosterone cypionate?

Once a week is the minimum and it works. Twice a week, three or four days apart, produces a flatter curve from the same total dose, which usually means fewer estrogen swings.

Longer than a week between shots and levels drop before the next one lands.

Do I need PCT after testosterone cypionate?

Yes. Exogenous testosterone shuts down your own production for the duration and beyond, at any dose worth running.

Because the ester is long, post-cycle therapy cannot start until it has cleared, roughly two weeks after the final injection. Starting earlier wastes the protocol.
