Before you run it. A SERM and an aromatase inhibitor are not interchangeable and mixing them up is the most common mistake in this category. An aromatase inhibitor stops estrogen being made and belongs on cycle. A SERM blocks estrogen at the receptor in some tissues while leaving it alone in others, which is what makes it the post-cycle tool.
You want estrogen present during recovery, so running an aromatase inhibitor through post-cycle therapy works directly against the thing you are trying to do. Clomiphene specifically is known for two problems, both from the zuclomiphene isomer that accumulates over weeks.

No, and this is the mistake that costs people their recovery. An aromatase inhibitor lowers estrogen. Recovery needs estrogen present, because the signals that restart your own production depend on it.
Crashed estrogen after a cycle looks exactly like low testosterone: flat mood, no libido, aching joints, no drive. People then assume they need more anti-estrogen and make it worse. Use a SERM for post-cycle therapy and keep the aromatase inhibitor for on-cycle.
Clomiphene or tamoxifen for PCT?
Both work and plenty of protocols use them together. Clomiphene pushes LH and FSH harder, which is the point of post-cycle therapy, but it also carries the visual and mood side effects that tamoxifen does not.
Tamoxifen is gentler and is the better choice if gyno is also a concern. If recovery of your own production is the priority and you tolerate it, clomiphene does more of that job.
Why does it affect my vision?
