What is Ligandrol LGD-4033 60 Injectable (Astera Labs)?
Injectable Ligandrol is LGD-4033 at 60mg/ml, and it suppresses your own testosterone about as hard as a mild steroid cycle does.
Also sold as LGD-4033, LGD or anabolicum.
LGD-4033 is a selective androgen receptor modulator, so it acts on androgen receptors in muscle and bone with far less effect on other tissue than a steroid has. It is the strongest of the commonly available SARMs for adding size. Injecting it bypasses first-pass liver metabolism, which is the actual reason this format exists.
Injectable Ligandrol benefits
- The strongest of the common SARMs for adding lean mass
- Bypasses first-pass liver metabolism, unlike the oral versions
- Supports bone density alongside muscle
- Far fewer androgenic effects than a steroid at comparable results
Injectable Ligandrol dosage
- Beginner
- 5mg per day, which is 8 units on an insulin syringe
- Standard
- 10mg per day, which is about 17 units
- Frequency
- Daily
- Cycle length
- 6 to 8 weeks
- Post-cycle therapy
- Required, not optional
At 60mg/ml the volumes are tiny. A 10mg dose is 0.17ml, so an insulin syringe is the only practical way to measure it. On a U100 insulin syringe 10mg is roughly 17 units.
Higher doses do not scale well. Suppression climbs faster than results above 10mg a day.

Who is Injectable Ligandrol for?
People who want SARM-level results without the oral route, and who accept that this needs the same post-cycle planning a steroid does. It is not a gentler option, it is a more selective one.
The same compound is sold as capsules: LGD4033 10 and Ligandrol LGD-4033. Capsules are simpler to dose; the injectable avoids first-pass metabolism.
How to use Injectable Ligandrol
Intramuscular injection, daily, using an insulin syringe because the volumes are well under a quarter of a millilitre. Wipe the stopper before every draw and rotate sites. The injection technique guide covers it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need PCT after Ligandrol?
Yes. This is the most common and most costly misconception about SARMs generally and LGD-4033 in particular.
Clinical trials showed dose-dependent testosterone suppression starting at 1mg a day. At the 5 to 10mg people actually run, suppression is substantial and recovery without help takes months. Plan post-cycle therapy before you start.
Why inject a SARM instead of taking capsules?
To avoid first-pass liver metabolism. Oral SARMs pass through the liver before reaching circulation, which is where the strain on liver markers comes from.
Injecting removes that step. The trade-off is that you are injecting daily for very small volumes, which many people find is not worth it.
How do I measure such a small dose?
With an insulin syringe. At 60mg/ml, a 10mg dose is 0.17ml, which is about 17 units on a standard U100 insulin syringe, and 5mg is about 8 units.
A normal 3ml syringe cannot measure that accurately. This is a practical requirement rather than a preference.
Does Ligandrol cause water retention?
Some, which surprises people because SARMs are generally sold as dry. LGD-4033 is the exception among the common ones and a portion of the early weight gain is fluid.
It settles once the cycle ends. It is not the same mechanism as estrogen-driven retention from a steroid, so an aromatase inhibitor does nothing about it.
How long should a cycle be?
Six to eight weeks. Longer deepens the suppression without adding much, and the recovery gets harder the further you push it.
Allow at least as long off as you were on, with post-cycle therapy through the first part of it.
